A Legitimate? way to SPAM using yahoogroups.com

SPAM, I sort of dislike it and prefer my mail box to be free of SPAM. Spam filters like spamassin are very much effective against it. But for around past three-four months I have been receiving a new form of SPAM, in the form of yahoo groups invitations. All sort of marriage alliance invitations, hey I am happily married, please stay away. If I block one another one pops out, even I am helpless.

BTW for now I have reported this particular SPAM group to yahoo customer service and lets wait and watch what comes out of it.

My spam filter seems helpless and gives a negative score on this SPAM. Here is a sample:

Any my request to yahoo customer support

I never requested any type of email/ service form the said persons, but I recieve invitations from them on my yahoo as well as office email address. I am happily married but hey thats enough. Please stop unnecessary invitations where group owners buy email addreses in bulk and then invite them. I do not want to block genuine group invitations but ofcourse marriage invitations must stop.

Please help

PS: This is not the first such group, I have marked many as spam in my yahoo inbox.

Nevermind, I will post more such dummy groups here.
So much for free speech and own blog :-)
